Babagana Kali Says Ongoing Match Commissioners’ Seminar Will Further Elevate League Standards

October, 6 2024.

Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Match Commissioners Committee, Babagana Kali has continued to enhance the credibility and effectiveness of match commissioning in Nigerian football.

In a new development, a high capacity seminar is underway in Abuja to further develop the skills and capacity of match commissioners across the Nigerian leagues.

The seminar, which aims to improve the overall standards of match day officiating, reflects Kali’s commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity within Nigerian football.

"This is a welcome development for our football," Kali remarked. "We are seeing significant improvements in the way our match day officials perform, and this seminar will further strengthen that progress. Better-prepared commissioners mean better match experiences, and ultimately, a stronger league."

Kali has been instrumental in driving changes that have added flair, credibility, and precision to the match commissioning process. His efforts have directly contributed to the improved performance of match officials, resulting in higher-quality games and more consistent results across the Nigerian leagues.

The seminar is part of a broader initiative by the NFF and the Committee to ensure that all officials remain updated on best practices and maintain the highest levels of integrity and professionalism on match days.
