Chidera Ejuke Returns to Super Eagles After Two-Year Absence, Leading Europe in Dribbles

October, 6 2024.

Sevilla’s new boy, Chidera Ejuke has made a triumphant return to the Super Eagles squad for the first time since 2021, bringing with him a stellar record from Sevilla.

The Nigerian winger has completed more dribbles than any other player in Europe's top five leagues, surpassing the likes of Lamine Yamal, Kylian Mbappe, and Mohammed Kudus.

With 23 dribbles completed so far this season, Ejuke leads the chart, while his international teammate Moses Simon follows closely with 20.

Excited about his return to the national team after his last appearance at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, Ejuke expressed his joy, stating that he is eager to contribute to Nigeria's success. His return is set to boost the Super Eagles' wing play, with fellow wingers Moses Simon and Samuel Chukwueze also in the squad.

Ejuke’s form at Sevilla has been nothing short of impressive, and his dribbling prowess is expected to add dynamism to Nigeria's attacking options as they prepare for the upcoming AFCON qualifiers. www.ckdmedia.ng reports.

The Super Eagles are up against Libya in an AFCON qualifiers double header this October.
