Coach Imama Amapakabo has been appointed as the new technical adviser of NPFL side Abia Warriors, marking his return to the club on a two-year deal. The club expressed their excitement in welcoming back Amapakabo, who previously managed the team during the 2020/21 and 2021/22 NPFL campaigns.
Amapakabo returns to Abia Warriors after a successful stint in Rwanda with Étoile FC, where he was named Manager of the Month for March/April.
His impressive track record includes leading Elkanemi Warriors in the top flight and winning the NPFL title in 2016 with Rangers of Enugu.
Abia Warriors' management and fans are optimistic about Amapakabo's second tenure, hoping his experience and tactical acumen will drive the team to new heights.
