One of the leading Sports Agency firms in the country, F & A Sporting Management has successfully secured top Portuguese Club for two Nigerian youngsters, Augustine Njoku and Bolu Shotimade.

Chairman of of the firm, Prince Fred Akhigbe stated this on Friday while speaking to www.ckdmedia.ng on the benefits of his recent three-day working visit to Portugal.

Prince Akhigbe said the two players in question have had some exposure at junior level, but have been unable to achieve their desire of advancing their careers by playing in Europe.

"We just embarked on a three-day working visit to Portugal, and while there, we were able to secure a club for two former junior internationals, Augustine Njoku and Bolu Shotimade", Prince Akhigbe said.

He stressed that the primary focus of his agency remain bringing players out of the street, and helping the career progression of those already plucked out of the streets.

"In the nearest future, Nigerians will be able to watch a much improved Augustine Njoku and a better Bolu Shotimade, either in the Portuguese Liga, or in our national teams”, he concluded.

Remarkably, both players, defender Bolu Shotimade of Akwa United and Abia Warriors right-back

Augustine Njoku, were prominent members of the Flying Eagles squad, coached by Ladan Bosso when Nigeria won the WAFU Zone B Under-20 Cup in Niamey, the Republic of Niger.

Njoku was also part of the team to the 2023 FIFA World Cup hosted in Argentina, where a promising Flying Eagles side reached the quarter finals, only to succumb to South Korea who edged it 1-0 in extra time, to advance to the semifinals.

Prince Akhigbe also described the two players as talented players who are committed to developing their full potentials for their individual benefits and as future players of the senior national team, the Super Eagles.

We understand that any moment from now, both players will touch down in Portugal to iron out personal terms.
