A rejuvenated Katsina United FC, will look to inflict another improbable defeat, on one of the "Bigger Boys" in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), when they host defending champions, Enyimba Int'l FC of Aba, today.
With ten points garnered from the three victories, and one draw since Coach Abubakar Bala replaced Tony Bulus as Technical Adviser of the Changi Boys, Katsina United are now 10th in the table, with 23 points.
Having outclassed Remo Stars of Ikenne, 2-Nil in their Day-18 fixture at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, on Monday, victory today against
Enyimba Int'l, who are 5th in the table, with 29 points; will certainly be a morale booster, for the team.
The encounter is rescheduled Day 12 fixture; and while the nine time NPFL champions still has one match in hand; Katsina United will be playing their only outstanding fixture, in the league, today.
Enyimba will be without their Head Coach, Finidi George for the third match in a row, as the gaffer is on national assignment, with the Super Eagles, in Côte d'Ivoire; but will look to rebound from the 0-1 loss suffered at Plateau United, on Saturday.
When both sides met last, on May 22, 2022; Katsina United edged the Aba People's Elephant 1-Nil. And having won their last two games, Katsina United looks like a side that can cause Enyimba Int'l FC, some fresh worries.

So far this season, Katsina United have been in good form, winning six (6) home fixtures, at Muhammadu Dikko Stadium; while have been able to win two games, on the road; that's away to Heartland FC in Owerri, and Bayelsa United, in Yenagoa.
