Salisu Yusuf Picks Kano Pillars Job, As He Terminates Rangers Int'l. Contract

The Rangers int'l. Coach of Enugu, Salisu Yusuf has terminated his contract with the NPFL side and he is to take on at Kano Pillars.


Yusuf Salisu who signed a two-year contract with Enugu Rangers, led The Flying Antelopes to the seventh position with 62 points from 38 matches, lesser than the required points for qualification to international football.


A new Rangers will have to surface for the new season, as Davidson Owumi will also change position from the general manager post to assume the CEO OFFICE of the League Management Company (LMC).


Yusuf Salisu has previously coached clubs like Enyimba, Lobi Stars, Fc Taraba and his returning to familiar ground were he has coached before .


He will be saddled with the task of ensuring that Kano Pillars qualifies for continental football, prior to missing out on the present season.Even as he is set to meet with the Kano government officials next, were he will be unveiled as the new coach.


The former Assistant coach of the Super Eagles will be assisted by coach Ibrahim who was incharge of the team before.
