Edo State born Afelokhai has paid his dues as far as NPFL is concerned, having featured for top Nigeria Professional clubs and the National team.
He joined Kano Pillars in the year 2004 and won three NPFL trophies which is the high point of his career. Afelokhai then left for Enyimba football Club where he won the Aiteo cup.
The Rivers United goalkeeper remains the highest paid NPFL player so far. A discipline player, professional to the core and a consistent goalkeeper for more than fifteen season in the NPFL.
