Nathaniel is a product of the infamous Water FC Academy, Abuja. A football club that has in the past produced National Team players like Babatunde Michael, Okechukwu Gabriel, Success Makanjuola, Emeka Chinonso, Oladoye Adewale, Habib Makanjuola er al.
These products of Water FC presently ply their trade in professional football abroad. There is no suprise that Water FC has produced unearthed another gem, this time a goalkeeper, who is currently the first choice goalkeeper of the Flying Eagles of Nigeria at the on-going WAFU B Championships in Niger Republic.
He stands at a towering 6'4 tall, agile, flexible, good timing of the ball, good in aeriel duels, above all, has pulled out world class saves, in one on one situations, which he did against Ivory Coast in the Semi finals of the WAFU B Tourney. His reflexes and good composure is a testament to why he has only conceded two goals in the tournament.
Undoubtedly the best goalkeeper of the tournament, he looks quite promising and reminds one of the early days of Peter "Dodo Mayana" Rufal in the cadet National team before he graduated to the Super Eagles.
It is a no-brainer that this might be the case of the talented goalkeeper. It's note-worthy to give a honourable mention to the proprietor of Water FC Nureni Makanjuola A.K.A "MK" for always discovering good players who have gone on to don the National team colours.
