The president of Nigeria Paralympics, Ruel Ishaku has showered encomium on Sports Ministry and as well Minister of sports, Chief Sunday Dare for improving the welfare of athletes, affirming that the match bonuses has been increased and the athletes are very happy and in good mood to compete.

"The Ministry, the Minister are doing very good and great because they have improved the allowances of the athletes and also the winning bonuses have been increased, therefore, the athletes are happy and ready to compete seriously to win so as to get the cash prizes."
He equally expressed his confidence in the athletes even if they have fewer number of athletes compared to the last Olympics appearance.
"I don't have any doubt about my athletes because they are in high spirit now, they are prepared and they have trained in the camp and now in Tokyo to participate fully."
